September 4, 2015 – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC) recently observed World Breastfeeding Week, providing educational information and resources to expectant parents who included breastfeeding in their birth plan.
“Our international board certified lactation consultants (IBCLC) discussed the benefits of breastfeeding and offered guidance to help mothers get their experience off to a good start,” said Ines Serna, childbirth education and community affairs coordinator at EHMC.
Parents also had the chance to enter a raffle to win a Medela “Pump-in Style” electronic breast pump.
