July 14, 2020 — Englewood Health has named breast surgeon Julia M. DiGioia, MD its regional director of breast surgical oncology for Hudson County. Based in Jersey City, she will lead and assist with several breast cancer care initiatives for The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center and The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center at Englewood Health, including overseeing a multidisciplinary breast program in Jersey City focused on breast cancer diagnostic services and extensive ancillary programs for patients in Hudson County.
For two decades, Dr. DiGioia has been recognized as a leading specialist in the multidisciplinary approach to, and the delivery of, compassionate, high-quality breast cancer treatment in Hudson County.
