Fitness for People with Cancer (6-Session Series)
Learn how maintain physical strength throughout your cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, and how to ease cancer side effects.

Part of the Cancer Wellness Series

When undergoing cancer treatment, it is especially important to maintain routine physical activity to improve immune and digestive function, lower inflammation, regulate insulin, and efficiently release toxins from the body. During this 50-minute class, our instructor will incorporate cardiovascular training, stretching, and strength training to help keep you strong throughout your cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. In addition, this class is designed to ease cancer side effects such as peripheral neuropathy, lymphedema, fatigue, and loss of muscle and bone density. All levels welcomed. Mat or chair needed. Dress comfortably and have water available.
