Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply?
Englewood Health accepts only online applications. Visit www.englewoodhealth.org and click on Careers to view our current opportunities, create a candidate profile, and submit an application.
What happens to my application when I apply online?
Once you have submitted your application, it will be routed automatically to one of our recruiters in Human Resources who will review your skills and experience to determine if you meet the requirements for the job. Once that determination has been made, our recruiter will consult with the appropriate Hiring Manager to determine which qualified applicants will be invited for an interview.
Will I be contacted after I apply?
You will receive an automatic email notification after you submit your application indicating that it has been received. Candidates who Human Resources and the Hiring Manager have determined would be the best match for the position may be contacted for interview. Please be sure to read the requirements listed for each job prior to applying.
How can I check the status of a job opening for which I’ve applied?
You can always check the status of your application by logging in to your candidate profile and clicking on the Job Management tab. If the job is marked “closed” it means another candidate has been selected for the position. If you were interviewed for a position, you will be notified once a decision has been made.
Is there a limit to the number of jobs to which I can apply?
There is no limit to the number of applications you can submit, but we do encourage you to focus only on those positions that you feel best meet your interests and qualifications.
Why is it important to provide a résumé/work history?
Attaching a résumé to your application will allow recruiters to better review your skills and experience to determine whether you will be one of the most qualified applicants invited for an interview.
Can I request that Englewood Health make changes to my résumé or cover letter once I have submitted my application?
No. Federal regulations prevent us from editing a résumé or application once you have submitted it through our website. However, you can upload a new résumé into the system by updating your candidate profile. The application with the new résumé will be visible to the HR Recruiter and/or Hiring Manager going forward.
Someone contacted me by email claiming to offer me a position at Englewood Health and asking for me to provide personal and/or financial information. Is this legitimate?
No. Englewood Health only considers individuals who have submitted a resume and application through our online careers database at www.englewoodhealth.org. We do not ask any candidates to provide personal and/or financial information via e-mail, nor do we charge any fees as part of the application process.
What kinds of jobs are available?
All job opportunities (clinical and non-clinical) are posted to our website. Please be sure to visit our site to research jobs that match your interest and qualifications.
Is a license required?
