
Welcome New Patients to Their Jersey City Practice
June 14, 2021 — The father-and-son team of family medicine physician Shaik Abubakar, MD, and internal medicine physician Ahmed Bin Abubakar, MD, has joined Englewood Health. Their primary clinical interests are adult health; adolescent medicine; geriatric medicine; chronic condition management, including diabetes, heart disease, and pulmonary disease; health screenings; prevention; and wellness. They join Primary Care of Jersey City, part of the Englewood Health Physician Network, and welcome new patients to their practice in Jersey City.
Shaik Abubakar, MD
Dr. Abubakar received his MD from Osmania University– Kakatiya Medical College, in Warangal, India. He did a family medicine residency at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center (now Long Island Community Hospital), in Patchogue, NY. In addition to English, Dr. Abubakar is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.

Ahmed Bin Abubakar, MD
Dr. Abubakar received his MD from Kasturba Medical College, in Manipal, India. He did an internal medicine residency at Jersey City Medical Center–RWJ Barnabas Health, in Jersey City. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. In addition to English, Dr. Abubakar is fluent in Urdu.
