Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists Join the Englewood Health Physician Network and Englewood Hospital

March 12, 2020 — Five maternal-fetal medicine specialists have joined the Englewood Health Physician Network and Englewood Hospital, expanding the availability of specialized care for high-risk pregnancies and complications of pregnancy at Englewood Health. Shari Gelber, MD, PhDTamar Goldwaser, MD; Steven R. Inglis, MDJennifer Chiung Lam-Rachlin, MD; and Ana Monteagudo, MD, will see patients at Englewood Hospital and welcome new patients.

The specialists are:

Shari Gelber, MD, PhD

Shari Gelber, MD, PhD

Dr. Gelber is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in maternal-fetal medicine. Her clinical focus is maternal-fetal medicine. Dr. Gelber received her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a PhD in neurobiology and behavior from Columbia University. She did an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she served as chief resident, followed by a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Gelber is a co-author on numerous book chapters and scientific research publications.

Tamar Goldwaser, MD

Tamar H. Goldwaser, MD

Dr. Goldwaser is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in medical genetics. Her clinical focus is prenatal and reproductive genetics in relation to high-risk pregnancies and genetic conditions in pregnancy. Dr. Goldwaser received her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She did an obstetrics and gynecology residency, followed by a medical genetics and genomics fellowship, at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American Society of Human Genetics. In addition to English, she is conversant in Hebrew and Spanish.

Steven R. Inglis, MD

Steven R. Inglis, MD

Dr. Inglis is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in maternal-fetal medicine. His clinical focus is maternal-fetal medicine. Dr. Inglis received his MD from New York Medical College. He did an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Albany Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, followed by a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical College (now NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center). He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Council of University Chairs of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the International Fetal Medicine and Surgery Society, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and the New York Obstetrical Society. Dr. Inglis is a co-author on numerous book chapters and scientific research publications.

Jennifer Chiung Lam-Rachlin, MD

Jennifer Chiung Lam-Rachlin, MD

Dr. Lam-Rachlin is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board certified in maternal-fetal medicine. She specializes in maternal-fetal medicine. Dr. Lam-Rachlin received her MD from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine. She did an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center (now Mount Sinai-Beth Israel) in Manhattan, and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Detroit Medical Center (Perinatal Research Branch of Wayne State University). She is a co-author on a book chapter and on several scientific research publications.

Ana Monteagudo, MD

Ana Monteagudo, MD

Dr. Monteagudo is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in maternal-fetal medicine. Her primary clinical focus is maternal-fetal medicine, with a specialty in ultrasound imaging. Dr. Monteagudo received her MD from Yeshiva University Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She did an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center (now NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center). She is a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, the New York Obstetrical Society, and the New York Perinatal Society. Dr. Monteagudo is a co-author on numerous books and book chapters and on more than 100 scientific research publications.
