
Jay Panchal, MD, physiatrist
October 5, 2020 — Physiatrist Jay Panchal, MD, has joined the Englewood Health Physician Network and Englewood Hospital. Dr. Panchal’s clinical interests include back and neck pain, musculoskeletal injuries, joint disease, interventional pain management, and sports medicine. He joins Englewood Orthopedic Associates and welcomes new patients.
“My goal as a physiatrist is to improve patients’ function and help them safely return to activities they love doing, whether it be playing sports or simply being more active,” says Dr. Jay Panchal. “I listen carefully to my patients to determine the best non-surgical treatment plan to improve their quality of life.”

Dr. Panchal received his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He did a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and a spine and sports medicine fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery, in Manhattan. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the North American Spine Society, and the Spine Intervention Society. In addition to English, Dr. Panchal is fluent in Gujarati.
