Pete’s Story – Cancer Care

Local principal thanks nurse for care


Health-conscious and physically active local principal Peter Elbert learned this past summer that he needed surgery to remove a tumor from his colon. He turned to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for his care and within weeks started the new school year without a hitch, crediting his wife and one nurse in particular. To show how thankful he was, the principal surprised his nurse in a heartwarming reunion.
