Dr. Kalishman is board certified in infectious disease and in internal medicine. Her primary clinical interests are promoting wellness, management of chronic conditions, chronic and acute infections, hepatitis C, HIV, tickborne illnesses such as Lyme disease and ehrlichiosis, travel medicine, and women's health. Dr. Kalishman received her MD from St. George's University School of Medicine, in Grenada, West Indies. She did an internal medicine residency at Atlantic Health System-Morristown Medical Center and an infectious disease fellowship at Mount Sinai St. Luke's-Roosevelt, in Manhattan. Dr. Kalishman is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. In addition to English, she is fluent in Italian and Spanish.

I strongly believe that when patients understand their medical conditions, they can truly participate in the management and treatment of their issues. I always encourage my patients to send records, ask questions, and bring family, so that as a team, we can get them on the path to wellness.
