Staffed 24/7 with emergency specialists, our emergency department offers high-quality care in a modern, spacious facility. We are equipped to handle any emergency for adults or children, from broken bones to heart attack and stroke. Our accommodations and amenities ensure privacy, comfort, convenience, and a positive experience for patients and their loved ones during an emergency.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. 

Please do not come to the Emergency Department for a COVID test if you do not have any symptoms or do not need emergency care.

If you are inquiring about monoclonal antibody treatment, please contact your primary care physician. We are not currently administering monoclonal antibody in the Emergency Department.

Our Emergency Department remains available for people needing emergency care.

Arrival and Parking Information

Englewood Hospital’s Emergency Department is located at 350 Engle Street, Englewood, New Jersey.

We offer free valet parking. If you prefer to park your vehicle yourself, our emergency department parking lot is located directly in front of the building.

When you arrive to the emergency room, a greeter and triage nurse will ask you brief questions, including the reason for your visit and details about your medical history. The nurse will take and record your vital signs and take you to the dedicated fast track area or main treatment area.

Emergency Medical Services

Our accredited Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team operates one of the largest ambulance systems in Bergen County. Our EMS team provides tests and immediate care to patients en route to the hospital. Our EMS center also offers training and education programs for first responders, EMTs/paramedics, and healthcare professionals.
