Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Program

Pregnancy and infant loss are tragedies that no expectant or new parent is prepared to face. If your baby has died, you may be overwhelmed by the depth of your emotions, have many unanswered questions, and may not know how you are going to cope with the heartbreak you are feeling.

Despite the staggering statistic that 10 to 15 percent of confirmed pregnancies end in loss, many parents who are faced with a loss can feel very isolated. We want you to know that you are not alone.

Whether you are facing a miscarriage, stillbirth, or the death of your baby during the first few months of life, compassionate care is available to you at Englewood Health. Our Griffin Cares team is here to provide support and a comprehensive array of resources to help you and your family honor your baby, cope with grief, and begin your journey toward healing.

About Griffin Cares

Griffin Cares provides support for families who are coping with the death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or during the first months of life. Our program provides education, memory-making and comfort resources, as well as offers monthly support programming and annual community events. Griffin Cares is also committed to funding ongoing perinatal bereavement education to support Englewood Health staff members in delivering the highest level of care to families who are experiencing a loss.

Griffin Cares was established in memory of Griffin Matthew Caine by his loving family. Our mission is to ensure that families who are facing a tragic loss can easily access information, resources and compassionate, knowledgeable support at Englewood Health. Although everyone’s experience with loss is unique and deeply personal, with Griffin Cares you are not alone.
