Radiology Billing and Insurance
Some insurance companies require a pre-authorization or a referral for your exam. We recommend that you contact your insurance carrier directly to obtain this information prior to your appointment. If you do require pre-authorization or a referral, your referring physician will provide one to you.
The physicians providing radiology services are not employees of Englewood Hospital. As independent contractors, they will bill you separately for their professional services. You will also receive a bill from Englewood Hospital for the facility charge. If you have questions about your radiology bill, contact the billing company or name on the bill:
