Global Health and Community Health Activities

  • Medical Mission Trip, Paraiso, Villa Mella, Dominican Republic, 01/2015. Participated in a week-long medical mission with physicians and residents in which free health screenings, primary care and medications were provided to approximately 700 patients

  • Migrant Mobile Health Clinic, Toledo, OH, 07/2010 - 08/2010, 07/2011 - 08/2011. In conjunction with the Campaign for Migrant Worker Justice, organized free mobile health clinics for agricultural migrant workers in Fremont, Ohio in which basic primary care services, physicals, eye exams, and HIV testing were provided as well as free meals and clothing.
  • Medical Mission Trip, Tanga and Korogwe, Tanzania, 07/2010. Participated in a 10-day medical mission in which we provided free health screenings, primary care, dental care, general surgeries and medications to over 800 patients.
