About Meghan Kaumaya, MD
Dr. Kaumaya is board certified in hematology/oncology and internal medicine. She specializes in thoracic and gastrointestinal medical oncology. Her primary clinical interests are cancers of the colon, esophagus, liver, pancreas, stomach, and lung. Dr. Kaumaya received her MD from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, in Ohio. She did an internal medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center (Albert Einstein College of Medicine). She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. In addition to English, she is conversant in Spanish.

My goal is to provide compassionate and individualized medical care to every person I treat while incorporating the most up to date medical guidelines and treatments.
