Most patients have a referral or prescription from a physician. We also accept self-referred patients.
When you are treated at the Advanced Wound Healing Center, your referring physician remains part of your care team. We will provide updates on your progress and discuss treatment options with your doctor.
Preparing for Your Visit
When you come in, our staff will evaluate your wound and general health and take a medical history.
Please bring:
- medical records
- insurance cards
- list of allergies
- list of current medications, including aspirin and vitamins
We may:
- perform tests that give us information about blood flow and oxygen flow around the wound
- order additional blood work, X-rays, or other imaging or diagnostic tests
