About Harol Valenzuela, MD
Dr. Valenzuela is an internist and nephrologist. His clinical interests include adult health, acute and chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, metabolic disorders, electrolyte and fluid disorders, gout, renal failure prevention, and urinary tract infections. Dr. Valenzuela received his MD from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He did an internal medicine residency, and was chief resident, at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY, and a nephrology fellowship at MUSC Health University Medical Center in Charleston, SC. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Nephrology, and National Kidney Foundation. In addition to English, Dr. Valenzuela is fluent in Spanish. He joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2024.
