Maria Kassab, MD

Dr. Kassab specializes in gastroenterology. Her main clinical interests are abdominal pain; gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD); GI bleeding; irritable bowel disease (IBD); gastrointestinal cancers, including colon cancer, esophageal cancer, and stomach cancer; and colorectal cancer screening and prevention. Dr. Kassab received her MD from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She did an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel (Albert Einstein College of Medicine), in New York City, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Westchester Medical Center (New York Medical College), in Valhalla, NY. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. In addition to English, Dr. Kassab is fluent in Spanish. She joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2024.
