About Michael Meininger
Dr. Michael E. Meininger is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and has been in private practice since 2002. He received his MD from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He subsequently completed his gastroenterology training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Meininger focuses his practice on all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology and has advanced training and expertise in capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Meininger is a past president of the New Jersey Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Society and has been voted by both peers and patients as one of America's Top Gastroenterologists and Physicians. He currently serves as an associate medical director of the Institute for Patient Blood Management and Bloodless Medicine and Surgery at Englewood Hospital. Dr. Meininger serves as both a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers Medical School.
