Raquel Choua, MD

Dr. Choua is a general psychiatrist. She earned her MD at Universidad Nacional de Tucuman in Argentina and completed her psychiatry residency at Elmhurst Hospital Center (Mount Sinai School of Medicine), followed by a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital (Northwell Health). She also finished the adult psychodynamic psychotherapy program at the NYU Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Choua is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association. Her primary clinical interests include diagnoses and treatments of a broad range of psychiatric illnesses with a holistic approach. In addition to English, she is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Choua joined the Englewood Health Physician Network in 2026.
