Sanjay Rau, DO

Sanjay Rau, DO, is a gastroenterologist and board-certified internist specializing in comprehensive digestive health and preventative care. His primary clinical expertise includes colorectal cancer screening and prevention, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), nutrition, preventive care and the management of complex esophageal, gastric, and chronic liver disorders. Dr. Rau is dedicated to delivering highly individualized, evidence-based care, combining expert diagnostic techniques with a patient-centered approach to optimize long-term digestive wellness. Dr. Rau earned his DO from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Jefferson Health Northeast, where he was selected to serve as chief resident. He subsequently completed his subspecialty fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Massachusetts, where he also served as chief fellow. He joined the Englewood Health Physician Network in 2026.
