Sharon Awasthi, MD

Sharon Awasthi, MD, is an internal medicine physician. Her main clinical interests are primary care, adult health, health screenings, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, prevention, and wellness. Dr. Awasthi received her MD from Government Medical College, Jammu, in India. She did a critical care and anesthesia residency and a cardiac anesthesia fellowship at Narayana Health, Bangalore, India. She also did an Internal medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Dr. Awasthi is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Awasthi is a member of the American Medical Association. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi.
