Sung Wu Sun, MD

Sung Wu Sun, MD, is an internist and a geriatrician. His primary clinical interests include management of chronic conditions, preventive care, healthy aging, and supporting patients’ independence and quality of life. Dr. Sun earned his MD at Yonsei University College of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at Mount Vernon Hospital and geriatric fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is board certified on internal medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His research focuses on improving cancer care for older adults, including using telemedicine and team-based approaches to enhance safety, recovery, and quality of life before and after treatment. Dr. Sun is a fellow of American College of Physicians. In addition to English, Dr. Sun is fluent in Korean. He joined the Englewood Health Physician Network in 2026.
