About Tomas Diaz, MD
Dr. Díaz specializes in emergency medicine. His clinical interests include adult, geriatric, and pediatric emergency care; heart attack; infection; respiratory illness; sports injuries; stroke; trauma; and urgent care. Dr. Díaz received his MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, and an MA in education from the University of California, Berkeley. He did an emergency medicine residency and medical education fellowship at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (University of California San Francisco School of Medicine). In addition to English, Dr. Díaz is fluent in Spanish.
As an emergency physician, I have the extraordinary responsibility and privilege of guiding patients and families through unanticipated circumstances. My goal is always to provide quality care to each patient during their medical emergency, while supporting the patient and their family through clear communication and education.
