Visiting Hours and Policy

Español | 한국어

To help protect our patients from the high incidence of respiratory viruses in our area, we are instituting visitor restrictions effective Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the medical center.

General Inpatient Visitation

  • Two visitors at a time are allowed.
  • Visiting hours are 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. (note exceptions for specific units below).
  • Visitors under 14 years old are not permitted to visit.
  • Visitors under 18 years old are not permitted in:
    • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
    • Adult Intensive Care Unit
    • Labor/Delivery and Mother/Baby
    • Pediatrics
  • Sick visitors are not permitted at all. Individuals with a fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea should stay home and refrain from visiting friends and loved ones in the hospital.
  • Visitors must check in and out in the lobby.

For special circumstances only, please contact the nurse manager/supervisor on the appropriate floor.

Effective March 12, 2024, universal masking at Englewood Health is no longer required, although still encouraged due to flu levels in our area. Masking will be required only for individuals who have COVID-19 or symptoms of a respiratory infection.

On units with exceptions and additional restrictions, nursing staff will provide further details to patients and visitors.

Outpatients

  • All other outpatients (surgical/procedural areas, EHPN physician offices, and diagnostic/therapeutic services) may have two support people.

All visitors must follow all instructions from the patient’s care team and may be asked to leave at any time if not complying with those instructions or otherwise in the interest of safety.
