Englewood Hospital Research Day

Research

Englewood Hospital Research Day

Residents frequently showcase their scholarly activity at the Annual Englewood Hospital Research Day, and multiple national and regional conferences.

The program provides financial support for travel and lodging for residents whose abstracts and posters are accepted for presentation at regional or national meetings.

The program actively supports and hones resident skills in designing research studies and writing case reports via workshops organized by our Research Chief Resident.

Research Workshops

The robust research curriculum at Englewood Health encourages all residents to be involved and become initiators of projects. Resources provided here are invaluable, including mentors, help with statistical analyses, navigating the IRB and much more. Residents present their scholarly work and get the input of seasoned faculty members to increase the chances of their acceptance to conferences and journals.

Case Report Workshop

A Case Report 101 session with special focus on the interns to encourage and support them to write interesting cases worthy of being published and presented at national conferences. This session covers the basics of how to select a case and the steps towards writing an abstract with guidance from senior residents and selected faculty members.
