Yoga for Addiction Recovery and Overcoming Eating Disorders

Yoga for Addiction Recovery and Overcoming Eating Disorders
Learn how yoga can aid in recovery from substance use and eating disorders.

In honor of Emily Anne Kaufman, “May her memory be a blessing.”

PRESENTED BY the Graf Center for Integrative Medicine along with The Gregory P. Shadek Behavioral Care Center at Englewood Health.

Yoga has many mind and body benefits that can aid in recovery from a substance use disorder, such as alcoholism or drug addiction, and in overcoming an eating disorder. The practice can stabilize your mood, help you relax and manage anxiety, allow you to reconnect with your body, increase self-control and coping skills, explore self-compassion and acceptance, and even improve insomnia.
