July 19, 2023 — Englewood Health has been named one of the top 100 heart programs in America by Becker’s Hospital Review. Englewood Health was one of just five New Jersey hospitals to receive this prestigious honor.
The “hospitals and health systems with great heart programs” list by Becker’s recognizes heart programs that are renowned for their exemplary care, patient outcomes, and leading technologies.
In their announcement last week, Becker’s stated that Englewood Health’s cardiovascular care program is “made up of a nationally recognized team of experts who diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, working closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans.”
The announcement also recognized Englewood Health early adoption of minimally invasive techniques, which “offer patients improved outcomes, shorter hospital stays, and faster recoveries when surgical intervention is required.”
Becker’s added, “the hospital has been at the forefront of innovation, being one of the first in the region to offer the Evolut™ FX TAVR system, a fourth generation transcatheter heart valve that enhances the capacity to treat patients with varying valve anatomies and became the first hospital in Bergen County to receive the American College of Cardiology Transcatheter Valve Certification.”
