Adult Volunteer Program

Volunteer at Englewood Health

Applications are currently closed for Adult Volunteers. Please check back in fall 2023.

People of all ages, backgrounds, skills, and education, including students and retirees, dedicate their time for the good of others. Volunteering offers rewarding learning opportunities, as well as a chance to give back to your community. Volunteers enhance patient care. Whether through direct interaction or behind-the-scenes work, our volunteers fuel the hospital so the highest level of healthcare can be provided. Volunteers offer their time in more than 50 areas of the hospital. Some responsibilities involve direct patient contact such as transporting patients, while others involve clerical support.

Time Commitment

We ask volunteers to commit at least one shift of 4 hours per week for 3-6 months. Assignments are available during the week, either 9 am – 1 pm or 12 pm – 4pm.

College students interested in volunteering in the summer must apply by March 1. A summer assignment requires an 8-week commitment. If interested please call the Volunteer Services Office at 201-894-3066.
