Adult Volunteer Program
People of all ages, backgrounds, skills, and education, including students and retirees, dedicate their time for the good of others. Volunteering offers rewarding learning opportunities, as well as a chance to give back to your community. Volunteers enhance patient care. Whether through direct interaction or behind-the-scenes work, our volunteers fuel the hospital so the highest level of healthcare can be provided. Volunteers offer their time in more than 50 areas of the hospital. Some responsibilities involve direct patient contact while others involve clerical support.
We ask volunteers to commit at least one, 3-4-hour shift per week for 3-6 months. Time assignments are available during the week from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is some limited weekend availability.

A tuberculosis screening is required.
College students interested in volunteering in the summer of 2020 must submit an application by March 1, 2020.
